The usual last minute rush :-)

Well the week leading up to Father's Day weekend was pretty much business as usual here. Business as usual meaning several folk contacting me with "HELP! Need a Father's Day gift ready by Friday!" requests ... LOL!

I made t-shirts (including GrampySnorusRex), hoodies, polo shirts, a babygrow and a mug - all in a mad frantic rush - and even hand-delivered one parcel that wouldn't have made it in time if it had gone in the post!

I do find it weird that the same doesn't happen for Mother's Day ... maybe mums threaten their families with a fate worse than death if they leave preparations too late? Or is it that mums prefer experiences - a day out/ breakfast in bed/lunch at a restaurant - to a tangible gift for Mother's Day? I don't know, but I'm grateful that those who do order from me for Mother's Day usually give me more than 2 days' notice! :-D
